This are the correct MMS settings for tmobile with iphone 3g 3.1.2
If you are having problem sending or receiving MMS and get this massage all the time " no subject The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction ", here are the correct setting
apn wap.voicestream.com
username leave it blank
password leave it blank
mmsc http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile/mms/wapenc
mms proxy 216.155.165.050
mms max message size 614400
mms ua prof url http://wap.sonyericson.com/UAprof/W800iR101.xml
if that dose not work try this
apn epc.tmobile.com
username leave it blank
password leave it blank
mmsc http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile/mms/wapenc
mms proxy 216.155.165.050
mms max message size 614400
mms ua prof url http://wap.sonyericson.com/UAprof/W800iR101.xml
you should do a network setting reset before doing this to clear out any other setting you have in there.I have been working hard to find this setting.

If you actually call tmobile they will tell you to use the epc.tmobile.com one with the new all in plans that they have

neither of these worked for me
how ever i did talked to tmobile today and they transfered me to the (iphone department) i was a little worried thinking theuy were going to inform me they would be disconecting my account or something lol but to my surprise they were very helpful.
They talked me through getting some different settings set up step by step and when we were done they even said "enjoy your iphone" lol

I tried that Sinful set up which was impressive setup very easy to use. BUT it doesn't work. This 3.1.2 is a terrible update. I have nothing but problems since I went past 3.0

cdp2000 you forgot one thing. It is supposed to be
http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Even with the correction that I made these setting only work for sending mms. There is still an issue with receiving them. I talked with T-Mobile and they said that they have been getting a lot of calls about it. They are trying to fix it. It is something Apple did. So stupid that they keep trying to make it difficult for T-Mobile user to use there product. Screw AT&T....worst service ever.Last edited by cameronlazzari; 11-11-2009 at 01:54 AM. having same issue that everybody is having as well. Tmobile said it was because of certain servers went down thats why that is happenning and they have no clue if and when this will be fixed. It has nothing to do with apple. I just downloaded swirley mms2.2 and incoming pics work perfect so this wil be my short term fix for now even though they are charging 12 bucks now. I Looked at the settings that program is using and its the original wap.voicestream.com , etc, etc.

this works
Install package MMS & tethering settings 5.6
After installing go to settings-general-Reset and tap on reset network settings to complete the installation
Power off phone and back on!
Works with 2g,3g,3gs on firmware 3.1.2(thereing doesnt work on 2g)[/quote]
He's right...this does work. Just do exactly as the above post instructs. I have FW 3.1.2 on 3g and was getting the same error messages about incorrect resolution, but since installing the above app via Cydia it works perfectly now.Last edited by Poseidon79; 12-02-2009 at 08:29 PM.

WTF man, my mms still doesn't work.
It was working fine till I had to change my data plan last week to "pda" data.
Ever since then I get an error. I'm not able to receive them at all. I can't even log into my t-mobile.com to view them anymore as they are not being received at all.

When I...
settings-general-Reset and tap on reset network settings
My phone goes to restore mode and I have to jailbreak again. Any thoughts on why that is happening?Last edited by Poseidon79; 12-02-2009 at 08:29 PM.
