T-Mobile MMS Update-
Ok, so after being on the phone with the tmo techs, they stated the issue of being able to send and not receive is very widespread accross the US and only an issue for iPhone users. He did comfirm this is not an act to get rid of or flush out the iPhone users, he let me know that several 100,000 users are in fact iPhone users, and this is a huge issue for them at the moment. We went through numerous configuarations and rebooted and tried not rebooting, and being kicked off the tower, and nothing. My advice to you is have someone send you a test MMS if you cannot currently recieve and getting the following error: The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction, several times a day, turn your phone off an on a few times a day, I guess unless someone has some better news, we wait patiently..

Unlocked but not receiving MMS. - Hackint0sh
someone else said set it for like 224486 or something but 24000000 works.
there it is : "Try changing the MMS Max Message Size to 614400." But not seeing a lower number than the standard, 1048576, would work.Last edited by robertguero; 11-07-2009 at 09:04 PM.

Yep and from your settings that means your resolution on your MMS is very low.

Robert: My pictures look fine though; like their not grainy or anything and also the resolution of the picture is similar to the iPhone screen or even bigger. I tested by sending pic messages from my brothers' blackberry (3.2MP) to mine. I mean I don't expect high def pictures messaging; well not yet at least. lol.
EDIT: I also heard that setting the max message size really doesn't have an effect; something I've read before but a statement that I haven't found the evidence to confirm.Last edited by angrydog; 11-08-2009 at 10:28 AM.

@angrydog
Here is some info from one of the guys that builds the carrier bundles.
"T-Mobile does not support more than one 1MB MMS size or 1048576 bytes. 24,000,000 is an insane value. That's 22.88MB. No carrier in the world supports that. The iPhone camera supports 2097152 bytes, but T-Mobile doesn't."
I explained that it made my MMS start working again so I will keep it at that number till someone figures different.
