T-Mobile iPhone and T-Mobile's 3g network
I was talking to a T-Mobile rep and she said the T-Mobile 3G network operates on two bands. 1700 and 2100 Mhz. I notice the iPhone is only capable of receiving 2100 and not the 1700. Will that keep T-Mo iPhone users from being able to use T-Mo 3G.

iPhones support 1900 Mhz download, 2100Mhz upload. T-Mobile iPhone users in the U.S. cannot get 3G - only Edge. It's been discussed for years now. The reps will usually misguide you into thinking you will. It's not going to happen until Apple and AT&T break their contract.

The iPhone doesn't upload/download on different bands, nor does T-Mobile. T-Mobile uses 1 band and that's 1700mhz of which the iPhone does not support. AT&T uses 850MHZ or 1900MHZ. 2100MHZ is for overseas usage.
