Default Using the T-Mobile 3G network on the iPhone 3G?

I know many people are saying this is impossible because of the different frequencies between AT&T and T-Mobile's 3G networks, but mine was never from AT&T, I got mine from SoftBank in Japan, so is there any hacks for foreign iPhones to be used on T-Mobile's 3G network.

I'm currently signed up for the $9.99 service for none smart phones.

It doesn't matter what carrier you got your phone from. The iPhone has frequencies set in (to which every contry adapts to). If what you're saying is possible, people would buy their phones internationally and get 3G working. This doesn't happen.

Unless your iPhone is 1700Mhz UMTS/HSPA capable it can't be done. There is no hack it's a frequency.
