3G not possible right? Is EDGE bearable coming from EVDA and 3G?
How is the speed of their edge network for browsing the internet, I mean, is it bearable?
I'm coming from a slow htc mogul to a touch pro which wasn't much faster, to a htc hero running android that was blazing fast for loading, but laggy as hell for usability, to a 3gs on wifi that's fast AND smooth. I use the internet on my phone constanty...

Websites that are "mobile" designed usually work pretty well. I'd say they load within 5-10s. But true websites take forever to load. Some about 20-30s. I think the 3GS may have an improvement on this, I have a 3G and this is how long it takes.

If you have full reception, expect speeds like this.. loading forums and such will take little time, but photo intensive pages will take a minute or so. Not snappy at all. Apps like TweetDeck take 5 seconds or so to load up recent updates..
