Tmobile is Down (update error from what they say)

No its not just you, Tmobile is Down!! Dont bother calling the 877 number most people are reporting its not working either or if it is (the people who didnt bother to wait) say theres a longer wait for a rep then the lines for the Iphone when they were first released. As far as people know they were due for a network update today and some thing went wrong. Or some one on the service end triped over the power cord and forgot to plug it back in

Thanks man, got worried right now. Instantly came onto modmyi! Just checked my dads nokia (t-mobile branded) phone and it also cannot make calls.

EDIT: In Philadelphia and I can confirm it is down. Maybe its a Northeast network problem??

Yeah...My wife's nokia won't receive or make calls, though my iPhone is alive and kicking with no problems. Anybody know what's up? Customer care is busy, and the my tmobile website won't load anything beneficial! Oh, and I'm in Nashville

Down in the Twin Cities, confirmed on all devices from multiple co-workers.

I see they closed their forums also.

Or took them "down for maintence"

Naa I checked their forums and I actually caught a few threads, I think their servers are getting flooded.

Okay, I can confirm if you have data roaming turned on, you can use Edge. So that proves T-mobile didn't close shop and go back to their HQ in Europe.

Here in ATL, its down. And everyone in my house and that I know use TMobile. Digital Communication Blackout for me... Guess Ill go into work 2 hours early...

Found a official statement:

T-Mobile customers may be experiencing service disruptions impacting voice and data. Our rapid response teams have been mobilized to restore service as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information is available.

Glad I checked the forum, I thought they took texts away from me, haha. I can't send texts, but I'm able to make calls and use the internet/my apps. I'm in Chicago.

Their site is sucking though. I'm trying to pay my bill and it won't load.

I'm able to send/receive calls on my iphone, but it doesn't show the E(Edge network) like always. And my internet on the iphone isn't working either.

Can't send text messages either.

i can confirm north east area delaware is down as well, but i can make calls, cant send text messages and safari seems to be working,
