No MMS on 3.1.2

Hey guys just upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1.2 since blacksn0w came out today. I have the MMS icon in my SMS.app and I sent a picture to myself which Sent but I DID NOT RECEIVE. all settings appear to be set up right in my Network Settings under MMS just wondering if anyone can help me out.

just realized i cannot receive texts either...tested by sending a text to myself and i have not received it yet.

TMobile is still having problems since yesterday when they went down so its not your phone or anything its Tmobile

I have no camera icon ,,I restore twice and every time I take my att sim ,it goes away ,,,i have have T-mobile...I tried to update the carrier error -27 cant me update or restored....itunes is up to date WTF

I considered updating to 3.1.2 today but I guess I'll wait till everyone is working ok w/mms, push notification etc. Only reason I want to upgrade is to get the newer apps but other than that I guess I can wait. since everythings working fine.

ok heres the deal guy... easy fix for mms on 3.1.2 on 3g iphone (i dont know about the other phones cus i only have a 3G)
what i did to fix my issue was:
Clear all network settings(general>reset>reset network settings)
let phone reboot
once rebooted navigate through safari to "help.benm.at/help.php"
once on the site click on Mobile Configs then USA then Tmobile
It will ask you to install a package...install it
then your MMS settings will be available in Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network
Then input these values:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
No Username/pass
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS: Proxy 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: BLANK (Make sure to leave this field blank)
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Make sure you enter all settings CORRECTLY and don't copy and paste or it wont work
after you have entered your settings give your phone a reboot and your camera icon should be there and you should be able to send mms. This is how it worked for me.

I am on carrier 5.0 i duno why itunes wont allow u to update ipcc but i didnt do that ... i bet if you follow my instructions it should work.

i have the same problem! iphone 3GS 32GB. jailbroken with Blackra1n. i dont have the camera sign i called the mobile phone operator (Zain Bahrain) & they gave me the cellular data settings (internet & mms) but still dont have the camera icon

Yes it works great, just make sure you follow the instructions he listed word for word

here is the most simple method that work for me. i spend hours trying to figure this out with no results. I also tried the method that modified the files and no go.

Open Cydia
Go to Manage and then Sources
Add SiNfuL iPhone Repo

Install package MMS & tethering settings 5.6

After installing go to settings-general-Reset and tap on reset network settings to complete the installation

Power off phone and back on!

Works with 2g,3g,3gs on firmware 3.1.2(thereing doesnt work on 2g)

Might help some of you out there, depending on the FW and wether you have a 2G or 3G iphone, just search and it should come up with either or.

For those that couldnt find the "Activatemms2g" app in Cydia, follow this Youtube guide...once complete, you should be set.

If that guide doesnt help you, try this one out AFTER you have already installed the Sinful Repo and Enabled the MMS for 2G fw3.0 or whichever FW you are using.

Everything was working fine... then I wasn't able to receive messages. So I tried to install swirlymms...

I deleted swirly as it was no use.

NOW I LOST MY CAMERA ICON IN MY MMS FOLDER AND CAN NOT GET IT BACK.

Green, sounds to me like you need to restore by throwing it into DFU thru Itunes. After restore run blackra1n. Install Cydia and install the sinfuliphonerepo source. Install "Enable MMS for 2G & 3.1.2" (or "Enable MMS for 3G & 3.1.2). Reboot. Open Cydia, install the Cydia.iphoneil source. Install "Push Fix & Youtube". Reboot. Then let Itunes restore from your backup. All should work fine after this. Let me know how it goes.
