Prepaid iphone? Possible?

okay so my AT&T service was shut off today and im interested in unlocking my iphone for T-Mobile, the actual unlocking part isnt a hassel to me but once it is unlocked what do i do? Can i still use Tmobiles sidekick data plans? or any Prepaid service? i recenetly heard that tmobile is no longer letting people use the sidekick data plans, im just wondering if theres any prepaid service i could use, i have an iPhone 3G running on 3.1.1
