Internet on iPhone w/ Tmobile on 3.1.2

Hey guys, i'm new here. I have a 3G 8gb iPhone on 04.26.08 firmware with 3.1.2. I have jailbreak and unlocked the phone. I'm wondering how i can be able to use the internet and send/receive MMS messages. What do i need to download into my phone and what settings do i have to configure?

I have read some threads about MMS and internet use but it's all with the 3.0 and not 3.1.2. Can someone please show me the way? I have the unlimited data plan for the G1 btw.

You will need to go into Cydia and do a search for "spooky" which will bring up the new settings file to install. This will activate your MMS. As far as internet goes... settings... general... network.. celluar data network... after APN type wap.voicestream.com (user and password remain blank). If that doesn't work change it to internet2.voicestream.com

For the MMS messages, i read up on some threads on here and did what some said to do.
In Cellular Data Network under MMS,
APN: epc.tmobile.com
username and password blank
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080

I entered in those settings and was able to send and receive MMS messages, but the pictures were blurry.
Any idea on how to fix this?

If there is a solution I would like to know as well. I bought my girlfriend an iPhone after she fell in love with mine. I jailbroke and unlocked it then we added the MMS feature (APN and everything) and when we tried to test it by sending a picture to one another, it always comes out blurry to the other person (ex. if I send pic to her its clear on my end and blurry on her end and vice versa).

We both have 3G's with BB 04.26; my fw is 3.1.2 and here's is 3.0.1.

ANY help would be great.

BDCruz, are you able to use the internet using any of the Tmobile data plans? If so, what plan do you have and the settings for the apn and such?

I am using the unlimited web for phones ($10 plan) using internet2.voicestream.com it is working flawlessly. Haven't tried MMS, don't really care about it. But I will check to see if it works in the morning.

I'm using the Unlimited Web2Go data and text plan for $19.95 . The APN I use is internet2.voicestream.com . And I can confirm that Internet works as I'm using it to post this from my iPhone.

As far as MMS I use the settings posted in the T-Monile section of this forum, I think it says 'MMS settings on T-Mobile' .. Or something similar; just settings NOT a bundle or anything. I just sent my friend a pic of some shoes and he texted be back so I'm asuming he got it.

Yeah i got it to working but my MMS won't work with the internet.

Why your MMS is not working in the internet? Is your MMS is the problem or the internet connection of yours?
