Switched to Even More Plus and Internet doesn't work
I was using my t-mobile account for the last month with the APN set to internet2.voicestream.com but when they switched me over today to the new Even More Plus plan my connection to the internet using Edge would not work and reported that I had no cellular data plan.
I then tried using epc.tmobile.com and the original wap.voicestream.com but none of these will gain me access to the internet.
Is anyone else switched over to the new Even More Plus and having the same problems as me???
Did they start using a new APN with the new Even More Plus???

I did exactly what marielicious said above and my internet is working!! I just switched to the even more plus family plan with 1500 minutes and unlimited text and the web (the cheaper $10 per line web, not the one advertised on the website) So my plan is $100 pre tax! I used to have the $80 myfaves family plan with tzones and 1400 text.(I was paying 117 pre tax)
So I changed my apn to internet2 and all is good!JESUS CHRIST SAVES

hey for everyone thats having trouble with this i just spoke to tmobile and was able to get mines fixed.
if you call them and let them know your data isnt working after switching to this plan, it turns out that the reason is that the iphone doesnt specify which dataplan it uses to the network. just let the rep know your using an unlocked iphone and they will specify on your account that you need the smartphone data plan and within the hour it will work fine.
do not worry you will not be charged extra its all under the Even More Plus Plans.
i can verify that this method works and the correct APN is epc.tmobile.com
good luck and hope this helps, the wait time is long right now for a rep but theyll definitly fix it.

OK if you are using the Even More Plus Plan via T-mobile on a 2g, these are the correct settings. I don't know if they work on a 3g or 3gs...but this is what the T-mobile rep told me when I called in. They also had to change settings on their end as well to make this happen. So you may need to call 611 anyhow to get this to work.
Settings>>General>>Network>>Cellular Data Network
Cellular Data
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
MMS
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
MMSC: mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: (blank)
MMS Max Message Size: (blank)
MMS UA Prof URL: (blank)
This works for my data and MMS, the MMS takes 1-2 minutes to complete; and the data so far just looks like regular mobile internet, not full webpages...but works for me. Hope this helps.
BTW you don't need any of the packages associated with T-mobile with these settings, because they can interfere with your settings sticking once you type them in, so its best that you uninstall any packages that change your apn settings/configuration.

The packages correct the different Cellular Data and MMS APN not sticking bug!
Stop digging up old threads when there are already proven solutions in existence.
T-Mobile USA Carrier Bundles: Bluetooth, Data/Internet, MMS, & Tethering (2G/3G/3GS)

Proven solutions???? lmbo...
...if there was a proven solution, I wouldn't have dug this thread up trying to find the solution...I posted information I personally received from a t-mobile rep, after he gave me the solution.....information which was very useful to me and could very well be useful to someone else. The packages didn't correct anything...they simply made the settings the rep gave me...not stick...stop speaking on things you know nothing about. It wasn't until I uninstalled those packages that the settings did stick...so now maybe your case is different, but this is what happened in mine.
Good day!

No obviously YOU didn't take the time to read. Because if you did, any installed bundle would have worked just fine.
The only reason your APNs are sticking is because both are the same (Cellular Data and MMS). But in your narrow-minded world, it obviously never occurred to you that some people need two different APNs. The only way to achieve this on an iPhone 2G is via the carrier bundles. The APNs are set correctly based on the order of how the phone reads the type-masks in the carrier plist.
The bundles are also needed to trick T-Mobile into thinking the phone is a Sony Ericsson W800i. Why? Because those wonderful people at T-Mobile refuse to read the iPhone's user agent and user agent profile. If they did, there wouldn't be any of this mess: refused MMSs, resized images upon receipt, etc. The W800i is the closest thing to the iPhone in MMS features (the W800i even does much more!).
Don't believe me? Compare for yourself:
Apple iPhone: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
Sony Ericsson W800i: http://wap.sonyericsson.com/UAprof/W800iR101.xml
The bundles would be used by those who wanted some OEM features (T-Mobile Services) and 2G users who need different APNs.
T-Mobile reps, lol. There is so much disinformation coming from the T-Mobile reps that it's not even funny. Most of the T-Mobile reps are telling people to download the carrier bundles from Cydia! And let's not even get into the broken telephone that goes on in forums either.
It just isn't wise to deter people by digging up old threads when proven, stickied, information is available to all with little to no hassle.
