MMS Issue PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, i am currently on a blackberry plan and i have been receiving low resolution pictures. YES i have looked at the sticky and that doesn't seem to be working out for me. I downloaded the tmobile carrier bundle for blackberry and i inputted this,

APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username and password: leave blank
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
max message size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Seem like i was able to send out pictures but not receive them.

Any solution or any other things i should try? this is getting me very frustrated.


ALSO, has anyone successfully jailbreak and unlock there phone and have there carrier logo shown? What i mean is that, you don't have to download "MakeitMine" or anything like that.

Both of your solutions can be found on Cydia.

To fix the resolution issue:

Add the sinful iphone repo (google this - I am not authorized to post http in this forum)
Download the "MMS & Tethering Settings" for T-mobile package
Reboot phone

For the T-mobile carrier logo (does not require Winterboard, which is good for battery life) :

Search for "Tmobile Carrier Logos" from the BigBoss Repo. The description should be "better carrier logo for TMobile USA."

MAKE SURE YOU DELETE ALL PREVIOUS LOGOS/MMS fixes! And also remove any of SpookyET's custom carrier bundles - these prevent you from using any custom logos.

HEY, got the MMS working.. THANKS!

But i am still having problem with the carrier logo. I used to use that carrier logo for my iphone 2g fine, now when i try installing it on my 3g 3.1 it doesn't show up at all. i did bunch of resets and reinstalls.

Well I am not sure if they mention it working on 3.1 - try removing any logos you had previously installed (including for winterboard). If it still doesn't work, then it's definitely 3.1. I remember reading right (right after 3.1 was jailbroken/unlocked) that no custom logos were working. I never upgraded to 3.1 because of this and many other issues.
