Fuzzyband 5.11.07 Baseband downgrade
okay i have heard that it is possible to downgrade the 5.11.07 back down to an unlockable 4.xx.xx baseband. is this true?
Oh and i found this video.

yes it is true.. but a pain in the *** to do... u will encounter may error message...

you must be on 5.8 bootloader, which is very rare

Yes, it's true. Just jailbreak your iPhone then go through Cydia and download the Fuzzyband to figure out which bootloader you have. If you have the correct bootloader you will have the option to downgrade.

Gents, I have jailbroken iphone 3G with 3.1.2 firmware, I need your help on how to downgrade or unlock the baseband 05.11.07 with bootloader 5.9 [G2M3S2]

Yes the BB and BL will stay the same if you try to downgrade. Geohot and the iphone devs are working on finding an exploit. follow him on twitter he has been posting updates as he progresses. Trust me I am waiting patiently. I have a itouch right now until the unlock comes out.

As of right now I'm kinda hesitant, but I'm sure if he came out with something that was tested and proven to work flawlessly - I'd hop on the bandwagon.
