I have a fix for the tmobile sidekick edge problem

Hello everyone,

i have found a fix that im about 90% sure it will fix the edge problem. Tmobile blocked a few ports (80 8080 and a few others) on their sever so that iphone users will not be able to access edge. Sidekick users are still able to access edge because they use a proxy. So heres the fix.

Find a proxy that does NOT use a common port. (80 8080 will not work)
You might find yourself finding new proxies often becuase they die out.
I am going to use my own server.

Navigate to /private/var/preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

Heres where i get stuck. i know that in this plist you can enable a proxy when you use edge and 3G. But im not exactly sure how to edit it.
If someone can help me with that then the fix should work 100%

I do not see why it would not work.

editing the .plist now with the help of a friend.
got google to load on edge.
nothing else works.

but thats still a start.
