Are you supposed to notified t-mobile that you're using a iphone after your phone is unlocked/jailbroken or do you just keep your old phone online? How do you activate the internet, text and email services, if you didn't have it with your old phone, which was a razor?

my "phone" is a razr too...
DO NOT let tmobile know your using an iphone, especially when you are adding or changing plans. You can let them know if you are having service issues, but still they will most likely blame the phone being unsupported, before they actually realize its a network issue...
just have the sim in your razr, go online, and activate the 9.99 web2go plan, and the 9.99 unlimited texts, pictures, and videos. The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

Actually they know you are using an iPhone.. Lol.. When you wall they trace the imei number you are using. Tmoble is pretty cool about iPhones. They even have there own department for iPhone help and troubleshoot. My sister called tmoble last week to get her mms working on the iPhone and she was transfered to the iPhone dept :-)

^ Agree 100% It is silly to think that they don't know what phone your using. And yes T-Mo is very helpful with setting up the iPhone and their Smart phone/iPhone help is awesome.
