unlocked 3GS on tmobile = No data only wifi

I just picked up a unlocked 16gb 3GS the phone works, but I can't get EDGE,only wifi. There isn't even an option to enter my WAP settings like on the 2G/3G. Am I missing something here?

APN settings? Try going to (on your iPhone) Unlockit.co.nz and set up APN for your phone. Follow the directions

APN's if you need them:
epc.tmobile.com
internet2.voicestream.com (this is the only one that works for web2go 9.99) -- I found this one is fastest out of all
wap.voicestream.com

You can also download from Cydia APN settings (something like that).

I recommend the website given as a last resort just because I don't like not having cellular network option readily available but if you can live without it's all good.
