When I installed the carrier bundle from Cydia I recieved the ability to tether as well no big on getting it it's right there in Cydia for you

I have a bit of a unique question about T-Zones.

We've been T-Mobile (IE my family as a whole) for quite a while now but I just recently didn't renew my 2 year contract with them on my personal line anticipating getting an iPhone, will it be even possible to get T-Zones and will I have to say it's like a RAZR or some other dumbphone in order to get it?

Yes it possiable. And yes you "might" have to say that at the start of the conversation, because they need an imei number.

Do the usual call from a non-iPhone and request to have the service added and the swap out sim cards.

I no longer have a t-mobile Edge logo and can only connect to the net via wifi. This is on a 2G 3.0. Was working fine until this afternoon. I checked general->network-> and I only see VPN and wifi, no apn settings.

Appreciate it if you can let me know what I can do. I'm paying for t-zones.

Just call from a landline they'll already know you're using the iPhone as far as the edge problem try a reboot or two my edge will occasionally disappear although I can still connect when this happens

you need to go one step further....

General->Network->Cellular Data Network

then you'll see your set-up for your APN

Thanks, I looked for that, but there was no option for Cellular Data Network. The odd thing is it started working this morning. The Edge logo just appeared and was working. If it keeps giving me trouble, I'll just call T-Mobile using another T-Mobile phone to troubleshoot. Thanks again.

i dunno man mine goes and comes... im on a iphone 3gs.. t mobile 9.99 web2go plan.. weather logo is appearing or not.. internet is not working for me anymore !!! after i boot up or reset network settings.. the logo do sent appear for at least 20 mins ??

For some reason my tzones kicked backed on today, i dont know why but im happy that it works again!
