ok im a total noob to the whole iphone scene and i was wondering if anybody knew of an app that you could get that makes ringtones. i had the g1 and they had one called ringdroid that i really liked, is there an iphone version of it?

GarageBand will definitely do it. I make all my ringtones that way. Rogue Amoeba's Fission can also save as .m4r. Rogue Amoeba | Fission: Lossless Audio Editing for Mac OS X

I have only used Garageband as well...I dont see the need to use anything else when it does the job

Many thanks to all who helped. I found an app in cydia called phonezapp and it has the ability to make ringtones.

i have to put on vibrate to know if i am getting any calls or texts

Ummm did you drop it or did it take a spill in liquid??

no drops or spills, i update recently with redsnow & ultrasnow, when i go in and check the ringtones it works when i touch the one i want but still will not ring if i get a call. thks
