    Default T-MOBILE - 2G vs 3G
Got a pretty good deal on a 3G phone yesterday.
    So now I have a 2G and a 3G iPhone...

Still trying to figure out which to sell, I would like to keep the 3G but honestly, when they are inside my iRevo Skin, I see no difference between the two...

Anybody wanna try to convince me to keep the 3G with some good points?

Better audio.. the sound chip itself, the external speaker and headphone/set jack.

    GPS
    Tethering/Native MMS
I think the battery is sightly better as is the screen's brightness

    It's just better.

I'd keep the 3g for the same reasons as above.

    I like the 3GS idea .......
but if you decide to pick between the 2G or 3G -- look at the screens. The 2G screen is a bit warmer.

I actually just sold my 2G and got a white 16gig 3G, also using on T-Mobile.

I liked the screen of the 2G better, the colors seemed nicer... the 3G screen seems a little washed out, but Ill survive.

The speaker volume is MUCH louder on the 3G. I found that out @ 6am with my alarm clock

The GPS is nice to have, although, I dont think it will ever replace my Garmin.

The biggest change for me is Battery life, I had the ActivateMMS2G hack on my previous phone, and that seemed to kill the battery quick. Its much better on the 3G.

Overall, Im glad I switched, but sometimes I miss the feel of the ol'metal back.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

i bought mine over craigslist, 600 bucks (new in the box, 32gb). sold my old 2g for 150, sold my old 3g for 350. plus i sold an old ipod nano (120) i was using because my iphone didn't have enough space. overall, it was the best decision ever, the 3g just isn't fast enough getting around the phone, i was tired of waiting 6 seconds for my messages to pop up, and like 12 seconds for my camera to turn on, 5 seconds to get into settings, 8 seconds to get onto the keypad, etc, etc. not to mention sometimes the keyboard was laggy. the 3gs is everything the 3g should have been, and its perfect for the people on tmobile that just want a phone that works, and works as soon as you tell it to. plus i never knew how huge 32 gb was until now, its almost impossible to fill up with music. Not to mention that i used to charge my 3g every 2 days, i'm now on my third day at 30% on my 3gs, its has about a day and 6 hours of usage. i'm pretty sure I can make it through the day too.
