With one of the T-Mobile carrier packages from Cydia.

Search T-Mobile and select the T-Mobile carrier settings for prepaid sidekick plans.

Check the sticky in the Tmobile forum called T-Mobile Carrier Bundles, follow directions and upload the carrier packages thru iTunes.

It's under settings -> General -> network.

If it's not there, reset your network settings and it should appear.

It should have worked after that. Installing the SpookyET package, rebooting and it should have come up. I had a few problems with it using the wrong APN for the package I would uninstall it from Cydia, reset the network settings and then reinstall. If it doesn't work I don't know what else to tell you.

If the info i am reading is correct, then you have a 2g iphone.

Unfortunately, 2g users can not use native tethering and must use an alternative like PdaNet.
