My MMS is no longer working? Does the jailbreak method matter?
I used to have my iPhone 3GS jailbroken via Redsn0w and unlocked via ultrasn0w.
My MMS settings worked.
Now I wanted to try geohots method so I had to restore and rejailbreak using purplera1n RC2 and purplesn0w RC2.
MMS not working...
Do you think this is related to my problem? Or is there another possiblity?iRealSMS - your REAL native landscape SMS app on the iPhone

well it was broken.
My unlock on my 3GS via ultrasn0w, was unreliable and the wifi issues were driving me crazy.
Now geohots purplesn0w is working great. No wifi issues and the signal is strong always.. with ultrasn0w it would go in and out at times.
I found out that somehow restoring my old SMS database was the issue.
I deleted everything in the mobile/library/SMS folder and it works now... but now my preview is not working when I receive one...
EDIT: I just turned off all MS items with SBSettings and it works... need to see which app is conflicting... time to activate them one at a time.
There is a MS extension called MServer...
this is causing the conflict... but where did it come from?
What package installs this?
And what does it do?Last edited by reznor9; 07-17-2009 at 12:20 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Mserver is part of the Mcleaner family.
