Unable to use 3G is it possible?

Been looking around other posts and haven't found what I need yet buy possible didn't go deep enough.

I have a 3g with 3.0 unlock on Tmobile service, I can connect at edge just fine but when I enable 3g in setting the signal reboots but goes back to edge.

I tried wap.voicestream.com and internet2.voicestream.com.

I don't know if my friend used reds now, yellow snow, or utlra snow to unlock it.

Anyone able to help me out or is 3g on iphone not possible on tmobile.

T-Mobile uses a different frequency for 3G in the US that the iPhone does not have in it. You will only connect via EDGE.
