    Question Contact list
Hi guys, I'm still running the 2.2 software and wanted to upgrade to the 3.0, but here is my biggest problem my contact list on the phone is huge! and I did not wanted to write them down then upgrade and type them back on the phone, my question is, does it have any easier way of doing this?
    Thanks.

Ok as far as I'm concern the contacts do not erase themselves when you upgrade, however my iPhone was jailbroken and unlocked when I upgraded to OS 3.0 and since this is in the T-Mobile thread I'm assuming yours is unlocked also.

oh I just though of another idea, you could update your iPhone without you sim card inserted and when your finished updating simply go to settings and then hit import contacts. I hoped that helped.

Just right click on your phones name in iTunes and select [Backup]. This will backup all your contacts/settings/messages, etc...

Exactly right. Whenever you backup your phone in iTunes, it will back up all of your information. Information that doesn't involve jailbreaking of course.
If I helped you, then hit the "Thanks!" button please.
