I bought an i Phone 2g with 3.0 off of eBay that was already jailbreak but i decided to jailbreak it over again using redsnow. I have t mobile and when i put in my t mobile Sim card ( i have the plan of my favs 300 with unlimited data and text messaging) it shows this is the service USA AE Airadigm and it doesn't say t mobile. it also has the E next to it. now i can access the web using Safari and Icy but not cydia it says network error. so please help i know i could of searched but not sure what to search for.

Back up your phone, restore 3.0, re-jailbreak, and unlock again. Some old settings may be messing around with the ones you currently have.

ok so i restored 3.0 using itunes put same thing it says the carrier is USA AE Airadigm or i have the option of selecting Iowa Wireless USA and AT&T. So i am so confused on what to do? any help appreciated.

Do you know T-Mobile covers the area where you are using your iPhone.

so you thinking i should be fine then? i mean i looked at my account on tmobile it says i have not used any data course dont matter i have unlmited anyways. and i don't have to pay for roaming either so your thinking i should be fine then?
