I have a jailbroken 3G iPhone running on firmware 2.2.1.
I brought it to some random professional dude and somehow
he got the Edge symbol on my phone but no internet. The next day
I called T-Mobile to cancel my sidekick plan and just get regular
internet for $9.99. I used wap.voicesteam.com for a day then at the end, after waking it up from sleep, the edge symbol was gone
and I was never able to get it working again. I've been trying
for about a month and would appreciate some assitance. Thanks.

wap.voicestream.com don't work with $9.99 plan. It's internet2.voicestream.com

you should call back and go back to your sidekick plan i found out a way to get the sidekick plan working 100% with the iphone

Yeah ive tried epc.tmobile.com, wap.voicesteam.com, internet2 and internet 3 but none of them work. the edge icon doesnt even show and I have wifi off and i have data roaming on. ive tried reseting my network settings also but nothing seems to work. 3g is also off of course.

get urself new sim card. ull be all set tell them u lost the old one.
