What's slow? It should work. Blacksn0w has a lot of issues WiFi, GPS, etc.

Every thing works fine, don't get me wrong - Youtube, itunes and app store is very very slow on edge comparing to manual entry of apn, my question is whether I used the right one (which is with ultrasn0w 0.92 the latest but I am using blacksn0w. Safari is very fast.

Ok, not sure why but... I haven't used MMS at all since upgrading to 3.1.2 but tried it today after the latest upgrade from ultrasnow and spookyet and now I can't send (and possibly receive?) mms. What do I need to do to troubleshoot the problem?

Ijust fixed my problem by removing Firewall IP from my 3GS -3.1.2 and every thing is working - Thanks

must have used file for different T-mobile pan.

I can ask Kyle to give it a Sticky, but you have to keep it a lot cooler with the other users than in the past. I have noticed though you seem to have lightened up which is good. I'll see what I can do for you. I know he is only going to give you a sticky if you agree to maintain the thread.

Problem: my mms apn wont stick. can only use internet2.voicestream.com and when i use the package in cydia everything sticks but the mms apn. is there a solution?

For some reason, I lost tethering. I've updated to the latest pkg... but the menu is gone... can someone help?

Only thing that worked for me ^. tried for months to with the carrier bundle, but mms apn woud not stick.

Have you tried a "reset all network settings"?

guess it aint workin for me...i tried this and another way but nothing is working for me.

Did you reset network settings. also on the site leave the tether and mms option to off. Took me a couple of trys to get it to stick, now my mms apn says epc.tmobile.com, which it shouldnt, but it works so im not complaining.

Hey Spooky can you help me out? i recently updated my 3G to 3.1.2 via blacksnow. my mms and everything was working fine and i've even used tethering on edge however i have to restore my phone to take it to apple when i came back i jb and unlocked with black snow again and now i don't have mms i have the tethering option and my web works fine but now i don't have the option to mms?

i don't see your bundles in the tweaks section fo cydia what gives?

I don't know. I just use creamsn0w and don't worry about Apple. The debs should be in Cydia. I see them at MMI. Try the latest IPCC.

Hey Spooky, sorry to bother you but I had some updates in Cydia and I noticed one of them was my carrier bundle. Since the update, I can receive but cant send MMS now. My settings are as follows:

Cellular Data:
APN: eps.tmobile.com
User/Pass: blank

MMS:
APN: eps.tmobile.com
User/Pass: blank
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Hopefully this helps! Im stuck and lost and miss my MMS. Btw, Im a 2G on 3.1.2

Your MMS APN is wrong. It should be wap.voicestream.com.

You can try resetting. You shouldn't have to input anything manually. Install the IPCC from the main post if you don't see them in Cydia.

the media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction
