Mines working no problem, tried a few different ways of sending it different phones and sending from my email to mms

Ok I figured it out when you reboot it erases epc.tmobile.com from the mms settings. As long as its blank it will work but if it is on there it wont be able to receive mms.

Well I just tried downloading this and now Im stuck without a phone all day, as mine is stuck at the apple logo. Im on a 3G phone running 3.0 jailbroke and unlocked on AT&T.

This is retarded. The thing I thought would allow me to send mms has crippled my phone and will require me to restore and rejailbreak and unlock my phone!!!

I'm having the same problem as "way2fst4u". Only error signs when trying to send MMS - and require internet2.voicestream.com for EDGE to work on iPhone...

the APN for Data and MMS have to be the same, theres a way to get both to be different checkout the thread in File Mods

Yea i have my APN at epc.tmobile.com and my mms as epc.tmobile.com just keeps getting erase should i try to reinstall it?

I installed this on my 3G, thinking it would enable MMS, and now I can't even boot up my iPhone. Why is the description of the package Apple.com!? Now I have to restore… At least say SOMEWHERE on there that it's for the original iPhone only. I can see TONS of people doing exactly what I did who now have to restore.

Im Sorry I dont know if im blind or did i read that you said that you tried to install the patch with a 3G Phone im sorry but if you read the post this is for iphone 2G why would you need to do this with an 3G Phone if you all ready had MMS on it. PLZ so you dont have to restore your phone next time read before you think

I have sidekick prepaid with my 2G. Is it possible to get MMS working? The APN for sidekick data is "hiptop.t-mobile.com". Wap apc and others, I believe, require a data voice plan.
The author of this thread has gotten blank APN to work with sidekick. I can confirm this. Can MMS be worked with this?

I am Trying to see if i can get MMS to work the right way so far i am able to send the MMS but can get anyback cuz the apn settings do not stick so a am working on fixing this i hope to have it ready by next week so say tuned =D

To everyone who installed this on their 3Gs... why? Every first post about either the downloadable install files or the Cydia package "activateMMS2g" mentions 2G - hell the Cydia package has 2G in the name.

You do NOT need a hack to use MMS on the 3G (unless you are with ATT), you just need the right settings.

It's for 2G only, hence the name "mms2g"
