Alright finally i got it to work!!
I tried uninstalling it from the phone to reinstall it, but then it got stuck in the endless reboot cycle.So i had to restore everything again.

Then i installed it on my phone, let it reboot from cydia.

Put in the settings from above, rebooted right.

When it came back on i sent a picture to myself that work, it holds at the end when sending but that is cause it need the extra time to send the picture.

To get into DFU mode, plug in the phone.

Hold the power and home button for ten seconds or until the pc a noise(that noise where it recognizes a USB)

Then after the ten seconds release the power and continue to hold the home button untill the pc make that same noise again, its usually about 20 seconds.

my apn settings is not there under settings whats going on?....and after i installed activemms2g there is no setting under messages...can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

Doesn't work for me! My EDGE will only work with the "internet2.voicestream.com" APN for cellular data network. (Otherwise gives me some message about not being compatble with my device- I'm on the $9.99 tmobile web2go plan).

MMS messaging isn't working with any of them. (I changed the APNs together.... they always matched). I tried the wap.voicestream.com and epc.tmobile.com and no luck.

Suggestions?...

Ok I figured it out when you reboot it erases epc.tmobile.com from the mms settings. As long as its blank it will work but if it is on there it wont be able to receive mms.

Well I just tried downloading this and now Im stuck without a phone all day, as mine is stuck at the apple logo. Im on a 3G phone running 3.0 jailbroke and unlocked on AT&T.

This is retarded. The thing I thought would allow me to send mms has crippled my phone and will require me to restore and rejailbreak and unlock my phone!!!

Yea i have my APN at epc.tmobile.com and my mms as epc.tmobile.com just keeps getting erase should i try to reinstall it?

I installed this on my 3G, thinking it would enable MMS, and now I can't even boot up my iPhone. Why is the description of the package Apple.com!? Now I have to restore… At least say SOMEWHERE on there that it's for the original iPhone only. I can see TONS of people doing exactly what I did who now have to restore.

Im Sorry I dont know if im blind or did i read that you said that you tried to install the patch with a 3G Phone im sorry but if you read the post this is for iphone 2G why would you need to do this with an 3G Phone if you all ready had MMS on it. PLZ so you dont have to restore your phone next time read before you think
