can 2g phone tether a 3.0 software? Id like to use the new tethering method. Is this a MMS situation were only 3.o users get tethering. Ill load PDANET if have to.

PDA NET is the only way to tether on a 2G. I had one that used PDANET and it was awesome. Tried a mobileconfig setting for the 2G, never worked. On the upside, if you upgrade to the 3G, both native MMS and Built In tethering WORK GREAT!!
