i unlock my iphone 3g 3.0 thnx dev team but i want to use the internet and right now it is working on wap.voicestream.com but in dont have a data plan for tmobile i just used it for couple a seconds but i dont want to get charge alot cause i have heard that they charge you for how much MB you used. and i called to tmobile that if the 9.99 was unlimited and they told me that that one has only 10 MB of usage. so plz can anyone tell me wich plan to get so i can use the internet thnx

Use the Web2Go for $9.99. It's only 100 mb, not 10 mb. You might have to call a few times because the T-Mo customer service people aren't helpful at all. Don't try to go down to T-Mo and have them add it; I tried this and all they do at the T-Mo store is call the 800 number the same as you would. They may give you a fit over the phone about having an iPhone and you "having" to buy the $34.99 data plan but just stick to your guns and make them add it.

Actually, the $9.99 Web2Go plan is now unlimited. And if you like to text I would suggest you get the $19.99 unlimited data + unlimited text. But I used to have the $9.99 and they definitely took the cap off. I believe there is a 3Gb softcap, meaning they can interrupt your data service if you hog down their service, but these cases are extreme. I can prove this, my May bill had over 400mb of data, and I had the $9.99 plan. I already used over 100mb in June and I have the $19.99 plan, so the cap has definitely been removed. Just make sure you DO NOT get the $24.99 or $34.99 G1 plans. These will give you the same speed for a crappy price.

I just called t-mobile since I've been having problems with my $9.99 data plan cutting out on me and I get a "you don't have a data plan" error page from T-mobile".
I said I want to keep the $9.99 plan and use it with my iphone. I was told by a supervisor that they have "upgraded" their network to provide the "right" coverage for each phone. He said I could order a $25 internet plan for the iphone. I explained that from my perspective this was a downgrade of service rather than an upgrade. He said that was an issue for Customer Care. I'll be calling them tomorrow.

might have do the old "trick the IMEI with the CSR". thats what i had to do to get the 9.99 plan.
