3G Network on iPhone 2G Gone After Updating to 3.0

So before i upgraded my phone to 3.0, i had "3G" where the "E" (Edge) was...but after upgrading, i got the "E" again.

Anyone know how to get it back?

You'll need to use a theme that permanently places a "3G" badge in the status bar. This doesn't mean you are connected to a 3G network, it just looks like it.

I hate to break it to you but you never had connection to a 3G network if you have a 2G iPhone. It was just the theme.

oh lol...whats funny was that when i did notice it was right after i searched to see if T-Mobile has gotten 3G yet. damn coincidence.
