How do you sync jailbroken/unlocked 3G?

Hi, I have an unlocked 3G on t-mobile with 3.0. When I attempt to sync, it gives me the message "the sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported." Is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance!

You need to jailbreak your iphone and unlock it with ultrasn0w. See front page
