yes this settings do work but then safari doesn't. When you input these settings it changes the cellular data network settings, and then my 9.99 data & email plan from tmobile does not work. I'm still googleing for the answer.

Hey there. I have an iPhone 3G unlocked on the 3.1.2 firmware, and the 5.11.07 baseband. I have the settings for the MMS correct, and I can send pictures, send them to myself and receive them, but when someone sends them to me, I get a message saying : "The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction." and following is a message saying my picture can be viewed at my.tmobile.com. What can I do to fix this? Here are my settings :

Click Home to save.
Install Legacy:
1) Open Cydia
2) Search for Legacy
a. You should have 2 results
b. Install first result (T-Mobile US - Postpaid/F...)
3) Reboot Iphone.
4) Send yourself a test MMS
This should resolve any issues with the newest Firmware.

WOW! After putting in the settings I needed to SEND pic messages, for some reason under settings now, and under network, it doesn't give me the option anymore to edit or even see the cellular data network area?? When I go in, it just says --enable 3g, then Data roaming, the the VPN, and the wifi area, and numeric wifi!! Thats it! Where the heck did the option that says cellular data network go?? Cuz now I can't go and edit anything and such?? I can send pic messages, but like others, and I get "The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction". message, but, now I can't even go in and change anything as that option is not there anymore?? Weird! Anyone have any suggestions?? I am using a 3gs unlocked/jailbroke iphone?

Thanks, but, my problem is that when i get to where it should say cellular data network, the option is not there? Something weird did happen earlier today though, that I should mention.. For some reason, earlier, it let me! I was freaked so I quickly put in some codes that I had written down when I did my 1st generation iphone, then all of a sudden the wifi started working! I was like yaaay! I finally got it! Well I thought I should restart the phone and all so it could stick?? So i turned off my iphone, but when I turned it back on, it was gone, and still till now, I don't get the option to go back in and put the settings again? Really weird? I'm confused!! Under Network, it has the options for enable 3g, data roaming, vpn, and wifi. Thats it! Not the cellular data network that was there earlier, that I need to input the settings! ugh!!
