t-zone on 3.0 or edge setting.
Ive been digging around and i haven't found anything about this. How is everyone using internet on the 3.0 software and which plan are you using? Im currently still on 2.2.1 with the tzone hack.

are you using the same method of editing the preferences.plist file in the preferences folder and the proxy.pac?

O thank u thank u the epc.tmobile.com setting for my APN works great. I had an alternative APN on my 2G iphone b4 I upgraded to 3.0 yesterday and it had stopped working in Late May. I searched for something now that I upgraded to 3.0 and now I'm back in business!!

How's the speed on tmobile compared to 3G on AT&T? I've heard it's comparable. My download speeds vary on 3G but are normally 100-180kbps.

Im having a problem with edge on my 2g iphone after I upgraded to 3.0.
Whenever I try to load a page off edge it says safari not connecgted to the internet.
I tried all three different APN settings
wap.voicestream.com (for the 9.99 plan)
Internet2.com voicestream
epc.tmobile.com
I rebooted after i changed them and i get the same results.
Anyone know whats wrong?

Same here, I dont know what the heck is wrong? I have the 24.99 internet plan, it works fines on turbo sim before ultrasnow when i used epc.tmobile.com
Edit: After messing around, I found that internet2.voicestream.com works, I dont know why, I have always use epc.tmobile.com or wap.voicestream.com before. Try it out and see, I have the 24.99 G1 data plan by the way.Last edited by romeo0119; 06-23-2009 at 09:49 AM.

weird! I must have tried all three a thousand times and now internet2 works.
I think I know what happened.
Anyone else having this problem, Download sbsettings first to make sure edge isn't toggled off. then edit the apn setting. then reboot.
I remember wap.voicestream being faster but anything is good for now.

I'm on a 2G (3.0 FW/Unlocked/JB) with the $5.99 T-Zones plan. My EDGE works fine with wap.voicestream.com, and getting the same if not better connectivity.

Mine seems to be working (prepaid SideKick plan), but data is incredibly slow. I have no EDGE connection at all, just GPRS.
