3.0 MMS for Tmobile?

I've been using the tzones hack with epc.tmobile.com . For mms I've been using wap.voicestream.com and different combinations, I can't get mms working, anyone?

there is a thread on how to get mms working for 3.0 on tmobile. use the search!! its under "enable tmobile mms on 3.0" i believe.

I have an unlocked Iphone 3G. I am using the regular mms apple client. I need the correct mms settings for it.

the .ipcc file doesnt seem to load in the new itunes, using Vista.

To load the file, you need 8.2 Alpha 1

Yeah, I can't load the file.

hasteveha, what do you mean alpha 1? When I click about iTunes (I'm on a mac), it says iTunes 8.2 (23), if that even matters.


I have a 2G and I couldn't even choose the file. And yes, I know that mms doesn't work on 2g's. I have a 3G coming in the mail monday so maybe that'll work.

The version of itunes you have is the final version, you need an alpha version, alpha one. Google it.

You could also follow these instructions to enable .ipcc updates on iTunes 8.2 final.

Windows 2000/XP/Vista (32-bit):

1. Go to Start -> Run (
2. type in "command" and hit enter
3. Type/copy+paste this into the command console that comes up: "CProgram Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
4. Hit enter

Windows XP/Vista (64-bit):

1. Go to Start -> Run (
2. type in "command" and hit enter
3. Type/copy+paste this into the command console that comes up: "CProgram Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
4. Hit enter

After you do this, Shift-click the "Update" button and choose "iPhone Carrier Configuration files (*.ipcc)" for Files of type:

Tethering and MMS don't work with 2G phones...yet.

I followed the steps in the sticky on top for enabling the mms and tethering and I got tethering and mms settings under the network option but I don't have the option of taking a picture or adding one to my messages

I searched all over for this and no luck
