2G help!!!!
i have an unlocked 2g running 2.2.1 that is stuck on recovery mode and my mac or itunes wont recognize i dont know what else to do

Try these things:
1. a different USB port
2. Unplug USB cable, reboot computer, open itunes, plug usb cable back in

Have you tried holding both buttons for about 30 secs, or put in DFU mode. iTunes should recognize it, then you can restore/re-jailbreak.

it was already jailbroken i tried puting it in dfu mode but it doesnt work it just shows a usb and itunes logo

if it shows the usb and itunes logo you did not put it into dfu mode. That is the only way you can fix it. Go to youtube or something to figure out how to put it into dfu mode if you cant figure it out.

It cant be in dfu mode if you see the usb cable and iTunes logo. I do not believe that you can take it out of dfu mode one you have put it in dfu mode.

i am i tried it so many times i count to ten but the screen lights up around 7 sec i have tried it

Step 1. Connect iPhone to USB then listen to the sound when it connects and disconnects.
Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.
Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.

well my friend then you might have a
DFU mode is the only way I know that would help you. Sorry.

yea and i cant get it in dfu mode........ it connects to itunes rarely

Last suggestion would be try using a different computer and see if that works. But, if you can't get in DFU, won't matter. Sorry

I doubt if you bricked it. even that can be fixed
