    Default What exactly is the legality of piggyback SIMs?

    And have Apple ever made any statements on them (void warranties, etc.)?

    Yup, if you ever need to bring the phone in for repairs....just pull the sim adaptor. They'll never know....and warranty is NOT dependent on activation.
