PLEASE HELP- how do i use 3g internet on my 3g 16gb iphone firmware 2.2.1?

Please help because i'm sooo frustrated.

i have a 3g 16gb iphone with firmware 2.2.1 with turbosim for tmobile. It's unlocked/jailbroken and i went to tmobile and got the 3g data service plan for $24.99/mo but i can't seem to get online.

i've tried a couple things for the apn setting but it doesn't seem to work and i can't even get on the edge network. so just please help me figure this out... does 3g not work on my iphone at all?

3G does not work on T-Mo, because T-Mo and AT&T use two different 3G frequencies.

how do i even get on the edge network? because i cant seem to get anything but wifi...

and one more thing...
so can i switch to a different data service/internet plan from tmobile that costs less than the $24.99 if i can only use the edge network from my iphone?

epc.tmobile.com or wap.voicestream.com should work for EDGE

and yes, you dont have to have the most expensive plan. I have the 5.99 T-Zones plan.

You could try to switch to the $5.99 T-Zones plan, but T-Mo is becoming more and more aware that people are abusing that plan, which is why it's a PITA to get it.

You need to switch 3G mode off under Settings
