I got MMS to work on my 3G 3.0 T-Mo iPhone. I used the same settings as above, like you did, but I had to restart my phone before the little cam icon showed up next to the text field. Only problem I am having is, when I receive pix messages, the resolution is HORRIBLE - yet they receive mine perfectly.....I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that "max picture size" option towards the bottom......
Any ideas anyone?

I thought that too....so I googled and found some "numbers" to put in their.....let's just say that if the number is too large, you iPhone is damn near useless - the damn thing wouldn't even fully boot up - I had to restart it 3 times before it would come one - so, be careful - I'm hoping that SwirlyMMS will get off their @sses and create one for 3.0 because I don't mind one bit paying for quality software - when I had my other 3 iPhones (yeah, i'm really on my 4th one lol) SwirlyMMS worked perfectly where you could spoof different phones and the resolution was amazing - I hope they develope for 3.0.......
As for trying other numbers, I'm affraid to lol

Now I'm Confused....
Before, my iPhone 3G 3.0 would NOT let me install SwirlyMMS2 because it said some error like "Firmware <3.0" or something like that......
I just tried today, and it let me install it - no errors.....
So, I can't test it because apparently there is no "trial" license....so I'm just going to spend the $12 and buy a license and see if it really works on 3.0.....i mean, it's only $12 lol
If it does in fact work, I will be BEYOND happy because the built in MMS sucks *** lol
I'll keep ya posted - purchasing right now.........

Swirly works fine on 3.0 as long as you get V2.1

SwirlyMMS2 & 3G 3.0
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I purchased the license and it works!!! Just like before, on my old iPhone 2.1, it works!!!
Right now I'm trying the different "User Agents" to see which one gives me the best quality of resolution on incoming pictures....
I'll post my results!
But it wouldn't let me install it before lol now it does, well ****, I thought I was on to something here....lol
Ok, best settings that work well for me are:
Image size: High (i tried Maximum, but nothing happened)
UserAgent: Motorola_V360 (there are other phone spoofs, but haven't tried them yet.)
Yippie for SwirlyMMS2!!

MMS working on 2G through native app.
THIS is the thread discussion. The directions are all kind of spread out but I can assure you that they work. I have completed my phone and my wife's (both 2G 8GB T-Mobile US)
GL!
