I don't get it... is the hardware that much different in the 3G that the 2G isn't capable of getting MMS?
I would really love this feature on my 2G iPhone!

Just for fun I applied the ipcc update to my 2g unlocked on t-mobile and under network-->about I went from T-mobile 4.0 to 5.0 but still no option under cellular data network to put in mms settings...only APN and VVM....I really think if we could get the settings to show up and be editable then MMS would work on 2g...at least for t-mobile users.

MMS works now after not working yesterday. Must have been a T-Mobile thing because other users have reported problems as well.

I'm trying to follow along with this thread and reproduce the various results but am new to making file modifications on the iPhone.
I'm unclear on one thing right now.... what file are you modding to get the mms settings to show up at all on the 2G (and what is the path to it)? Also would it be possible to get the code that you are adding?
Thank you in advance!
