    Default Wierd Text after checking voicemail

    I have a first gen unlocked iphone (2.2 firmware). Recently, I've been getting a two character text when I receive a voicemail or after I check my voicemail. Does anyone know how to turn that off. Also as of yesterday, the red dot on my voicemail icon won't go away even after I check my voicemail. What's going on with my iphone?
