T-mobile edge on Iphone 2g 3.0 beta 3?

Does anybody know how to get edge working on the new 3.0 beta 3 for tmobile im on a 2g iphone and i read some places online they say ssh into the phone and edit i guess a file but its for at&t??

the easiest way is to download iphone configuration utility install it edit the settings on your cpu and then save the config file and email it to yourself on the iphone and update straight on the phone.

how would i do that? i installed the iphone configuration utility but i dont know how to use it and i was reading on google they said something about an ipcc file? yea i have 3.0 beta 3 on my iphone but the cellular page is blank so i have to enable it thats the problem for tmobile internet

this dose not actually enable the cellular data network page it just stores the settings on your phone that you would normally store on the cellular data network page, you just open the program go to configuration profiles then the advanced tab then hit export then hit save, then you need to have 2 emails with at least one set up on your iphone connected to a wireless network email the file you exported to the email on your ihpone then open the file on your iphone and update your iphone with it and there ya go you should be able to access your cellular data through safari or any other app that needs it.

thanks it actually work! now i just need to know how to enable mms and video recording using tmobile??

yea i am still working on mms and tethering for tmobile have not started with video, when i find a way ill tell ya.

i was under the impression mms doesn't work on the 2g phone? is this wrong? im still gonna wait for official 3.0 but knowing if its possible or not would be cool
