any problems using tmobile with iphone

i have never used a phone on another carrier. is it really this easy to use an iphone on tmobile? do certain things not work?

Been on T Mo with iPhone for over 14 mos, no problems with both 2g and 3g. Everything works fine.

iPhone 3G works with T-mobile.

The 3G speeds doesn't, only EDGE.

so is there really any benefit that i dont know about to get a 3g phone if you cant get 3g speed on tmobile? wouldnt it be better to get a 2g phone for tmobile since it cant get 3g speed, or does the 3g phone do other things?

IMO there is no point in buying a 3G to use it with T-MO.

what would be a good price to get an iphone to use on tmobile? Is there anything i need to look for or watch out for? both 2g and 3g phones, probably 8 gigs. Do i need to know anything to get them to work?
