Well, since you didnt mention anything about version #'s.......if you cant run 02.28.00 baseband then the ONLY thing you can do is get a sim-adaptor.

Well, like I said...only baseband 02.28.00 is unlockable via software (yellowsnow)....otherwise your gonna have to use a sim-adaptor.

No, 2g firmware is NOT the same as 3g firmware. And even if you could the ONLY thing that will unlock it with software is an app called "YellowSn0w". Thats it.

2.28.00 is unlock able by yellowsnow. 3G is not the same as 2G f/w.
