T Mobile Edge Settings Available Now - 100 % Workin

Hey guys thats a good news i found out a way how to work on t mobile edge settings you dont have to touch any edge or apn settings well my Internet is working t mobile zone connection 5.99 for t mobile users

here is the way
how to work on
you tube
maps'
stock
safari browser
and many more working on net.....

ONE AND THE ONLY WAY PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCESS AS IT IS THANKS

1. explore your mobile and under

/private/var/root

you need a to copy a file called "proxy.pac"

create a file by opening a notepad and cut and copy this code

function FindProxyForURL(url, host)

return "DIRECT";

and name it as proxy.pac

PLEASE DO NOT TO SAVE THE FILE AS proxy.pac.txt but proxy.pac

and upload it at this

/private/var/root

(if by exploring your phone you dont see the change in file name ,download mobile finder on your mobile thorugh ibrickr and rename it on your iphone itself....)

After Copying download the file below

/private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

JUST OVERWRITE THE FILE WITH NEW ONE YOU DOWNLOADED FROM RAPIDSHARE

DONT NEED TO TOUCH EDGE SETTINGS OR APN SETTINGS AND THEN REBoOT YOUR PHONE

HERE YOU GO CONGRATS!!!!!

MINE IS WORKING WITH T MOBILE 5.99 t-zones plan and its pretty good speed

whizh plan are you using???
are you using post paid t mobile plan with 5.99 t zone internet connection on if yes then it should work fine il tell u the process again or u can check ur edge settings will be

since if this is ok u dont need to modify ur settings and vpn tooo

just copy the code and save the file as
proxy.pac

ok when u explore your mobile through mobile finder under
private/var/root

wher u have place the proxy.pac file
when u click on it u will actually see it is saved as proxy.pac.txt which we dont want it so change on the phone itself to proxy.pac after saving download the rapidhsare file it includes the settings for connection and JUST OVERWrITE IT under


/private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

after overwriting reboot your iphone and try to open weather it will say updating and after few moments it will be updated

this mean ur net is working your you tube will also work but first time it will say cannot connect and second time it will connect but slow

HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL AND REMEBER CHK THE FILE NAME AS proxy.pac AND REBOOT YOUR IPHONE AFTER OVERWRITING THE FILE

Same thing happens to me, when not connected to wifi. Went through directions meticulously.

On the 5.99 t-zone plan.

Settings are as stated, did not change them.

yep, just found it. so don't check your edge settings after the hack. it does something to the plist file and everything stops working... unfortunately, i got rid of ssh and without wifi to test... will post results later.

safari, youtube, weather, maps, and stocks will black out.. if done everything exactly like it says in the instructions.. its just not working!!

its like it opens then it blacksout and goes to the homescreen!!

its only the matter with u y not everybody i tested my self then there is something wrong u r doin .....I TESTED IT AND EVEN TESTED ON OTHER UNLOCKED IPHONES>>>>> ME OR HACKINTOSH CANNOT BE WRONG>>>>>>if that was the problem earlier i would not hav posted this thread

EDIT: Five days after I signed up for the service it started working. I guess T-Mobile is just slow about actually sending the signal?!

I've read around that Youtube & the T-zones EDGE $5.99 hack Don't Work. When you use Wifi, the it works fine.

mine seems otbe working fine as well,although i dont think ive recieved my text saying my plan was changed to the 5.99 plan, its been 4 days now, says it takes 24 hours

Everything worked for me, including mail and youtube, the only thing is youtube is really designed to work over Wi-Fi. It is just way too slow over EDGE.

My EDGE speed result was 172.9 kbps, I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. Also, another easy way to save the file as .pac and not as .pac.txt is to go to the the "save as type" box and select "All Files"

I have put 4 Iphones on the 5.99 T-Mobile plan and everything works safari,Youtube,maps...you name it...make sure to set edge to wap.voicestream.com with no username and password...
EDGE is in settings the general then network...


I saw earlier post saying wap.voicestrem.com which is wrong...
