Weird Baseband Firmware Conflict
I just recently purchased the IPhone 3G off eBay which is equipped with version 2.2 which i thought was unlockable and 2.2.1 isnt but somehow the baseband is 2.30 which to my understanding and trials, isnt able to unlock obviously lol. So the only thing i can do to unlock is purchase a sim adapter correct? I just bought the newest Rebel simcard on ebay so hopefully that works. Theres no other way correct?

you could always try to find someone willing to trade a 3g with the old baseband- maybe someone who wants a white instead of black, or vice versa-
