Help invalid sim

I have a 3G and it is unlocked. I've downloaded everything I am supposed to. When my T-Mobile sim is inserted and airplane mode is turned on then off, in the top left corner of my screen I get Invalid SIM. Do I need to get another sim from T-Mobile or no? I need my phone working asap!!! Please help guys and gals. I'm desperate.

take out your sim, turn off your phone, put in your sim, turn back on

you might want to redo all the unlock steps, and use the yellowsnow software lastest version 0.9.8

Make sure you turn OFF the 3G and Data Roaming (Setting-General-Network...)
