T-Zones & Iphone 3G

So I got it unlocked, have the hack, the tmo pack from big boss, installed, and I am getting a server timed out error. I tried the wap.tzone.com workaround and still nothing. Anyone have a clue??? I inserted my apn using the apn edit website.

Also,

What options do I have for inputing the correct settings, Can we still do SSH like on the original iphone?

you don't need the hack. just use epc.tmobile.com

I have tzones on 3g . You dont need hack just enter epc.tmobile.com
and youre good to go .

Thank barca magic 5 day i look for the way to fix the problem... i got it to work now .. after reset network settings... and put in epc.tmobile.com it work again

The reason why T-Zones doesn't work correctly is because you need data roaming to be turned on! and epc.tmobile.com added and edge will work instantly!

It works fine for me with data roaming off. In my experience, however, editing the APN settings required a reboot.

On both my phone and a coworkers' in which I tried my SIM before I bought mine (to make sure my dataplan worked, as it did not in my HTC G1) a reboot was required before it would work.

my own situation is i have to use data roaming on or my tzones wont work

I was told tzones is not offered anymore can I use the 100mb plan and the epc.tmobile.com apn .

I bought IPhone 3G phone recently. I am using Gevey 3G Plus 2 to unlock the phone and use it on TMobile. I have tzones but I am not able to browse anything.I added APN epc.tmobile.com to network settings and it shows the 'E' next to T-Mobile..

IPhone specifications:

Firmware : 2.2
Baseband : 2.30.03
Bootloader: 5.9

I enabled edge from BossPrefs and now it is saying subscription required. You are not currently subscribed to a web2go(sm) plan.


What am I missing? Thank you

^^^^ If you use sim adapter on iPhone 3G, some will enable Edge, some dont. If you want to use Edge with adapter sim, you have to do this setting: 3G OFF, Data Roaming ON.

I tried that still no luck. It shows the edge 'E' icon and says subscription required. I dont know what else try. Any help is appreciated.
