If you require the 3G speed to do a lot of browsing then go with the G1.
If you do minor browsing and are ok with edge, then its a no brainer.Motorola V70, A630,
T-Mobile (HTC) SDA, Dash, Wing
Apple iPhone 2G, 3G

yea and these ppl on craigslist have the nerve to ask for 450 for an unlocked G1, my girlfriend has one and to be honest, the only reason i would get it is because of the 3g, if i was to get it it would be a secondary phone, i wouldnt give up the iphone period!!! keep ur iphone dogg!!

Hi there i know you have already decided to keep your iphone but i wanted to drop my 2 cents in.
i bought a broken iphone and played with it for a while before i tried to fix the screen myself and finished breaking it lol. any ways i bought a G1 at launch and got ti and used it for a while.
G1 when i got ti was cool and i loved it for about a week. Then i started to hate little things about it that onyl got worse and worse i couldnt set ring tones for people on the G1 or anything the battery sucks bad and there is much much more i hated. any ways i finally got sick of it and i picked up 2 iphones (one for me and one for the wife) and i seriusly find something else i love about the iphone everyday its freaking awesome.
i would stick with the iphone i wouldnt trade it for nothing i have used a friends dare i have used 3 diff blackberrys the G1 and they all have things i like but the iphones brings all those things together into one hell of a phone
