Hello I have an iphone. its 3g w/ firmware 2.1. It is unlocked with a gevey sim adapter. It is also jailbroken with quickpwn. I have a toshiba laptop and i have tried the 3proxy/mobile terminal, pda net, and iphone modem methods to try and tether but they are not working. I believe it is the laptop because i create an ad-hoc network and i can see and connect to it on the iphone (only if it is open) but then on the laptop it just says waiting for someone to connect to your ad-hoc network or something to that effect down in the bottom right corner.....Any Ideas? Plz Help? could it be my firewalls?
