iphone 2g no service test result

ok so i tried what most users have suggested and then i came across the mod (posidon) suggesting to erase the baseband, and it appears that it did the trick with giving me one bar instead of no service. but now after i restored back to 2.2 and unlocked it using quickpwn the phone went back to no service.

anyone know why this is?

EDIT: FIXED

If you restored it back to 2.2 it will automatically update your baseband. You need to use a custom fw created with pwanage in order to avoid a baseband update.
